The Colorado Breastfeeding Coalition (COBFC), the Colorado Department of Public Healthand Environment (CDPHE), and the Colorado Lactation Consultant Association (CLCA) recently partnered with latchME to provide a map of local breastfeeding resources in Colorado.
latchME is the only WHO-Code compliant, free mobile app that helps mothers locate breastfeeding resources, including lactation professionals, health care providers, support groups, pump supplies and breastfeeding-friendly businesses. latchME is unique because it was designed by physicians and lactation consultants with a mission to connect families with evidence-based resources to help all families reach their breastfeeding goals.
Anyone can populate the resources map for their community, adding useful resources for moms in your area. Additionally, lactation professionals can list themselves on the app and those with IBCLC credentials can become latchME verified for a small fee. The app also includes useful tips and videos and a help feature that instantly connects moms with expert help.
